About
According to NBC's official website, Anthony Anthros and his wife Helen had their first son Will in Danville, California, in the winter of 1976. Anthony was a biochemical engineer and his work forced his family to move a lot. But the winter of 1989, Anthony had received a grant through the U.S. military to research and develop sophisticated prosthetic limbs for soldiers injured in the Gulf War, which he dreamed might help the general public down the line. This work planted his family in one place for the first time since his son's birth, and it became the basis of the Berkut Group's bionics program. Anthony continued his development work for many years; but in 2004, he suddenly disappeared.
