About
According to NBC's official site, Denise Bledsoe became the mother of Jonas Bledsoe in January 1953. She was married to prominent stocks/futures trader Sean Bledsoe until his death from a massive coronary in 1954. Afterwards, she never remarried, and raised her son, Jonas, by herself in their home in Winnetka, Illinois. Denise's son lived at home with her and attended public school. Jonas stayed until his high school graduation. Then, he left home for good and began a military career by enrolling in West Point Military Academy.

- It is unclear whether Denise moved herself and Jonas to Winnetka, IL, after Sean's death, or whether the family lived there all along.
