There are many terms and acronyms used in Bionic Woman and by the fan community. Reading about the series can be a daunting task for the beginner who doesn't know all these terms.
B
- Bionic — biomechanical implanted device on a human or animal that not only replaces, but also enhances, the function(s) of a body part.
E
- Enhanced Humans — a term to indicate all characters who exhibit enhanced abilities, whether through genetic manipulation or bionics.
O
- OFL — "Our Fearless Leader", in reference to David Eick
S
- sic — a Latin word meaning "thus", "so", or "just as that", used to indicate that an incorrect or unusual spelling is a verbatim reproduction of the quoted original
T
- TBG — "The Berkut Group", the organization that runs the bionics program
- TPTB — The Powers That Be, used to describe the producers of the show
