Besides his work on Bionic Woman, Jason Katims has been an executive producer and writer for several television series and television films. He has been an executive producer and writer for series including Roswell' (1999-2002), Boston Public (2002-2005) and Friday Night Lights (2006-2007), and Pepper Dennis (2006).

Jason Katims was executive producer and creator for television series The Wedding Bells (2007) and television film DeMarco Affairs (2004). Jason was also executive producer for television film Fertile Ground (2005), and writer and producer for film The Pallbearer (1996). He also was writer and executive story editor for television series My So-Called Life (1994), and writer for television series Relativity (1996).

In addition to television and film, Jason Katims has written for New York theater, and is responsible for plays including The Man Who Couldn't Dance (2006), Driving Lessons (1993), and the one-act Who Made Robert DeNiro King of America? (1991).
