Beside his work on Bionic Woman, Jim Coblentz has been an editor for many other films and television series. The other television series he has edited include Quantum Leap (1991), The X Files (1993-1995), Space: Above and Beyond (1995), Millennium (1997-1998), Prison Break (2005), Ghost Whisperer (2006-2007) and Numb3rs (2007). Jim's editing for film includes National Lampoon Goes to the Movies (1982), The People Under the Stairs (1991), Final Destination (2000), and The One (2001). He has also been editor for several television films including Murder in Paradise (1990), Night Visions (1990), and Earth Angel (1991).

In addition to his work in editing, Jim was a post-production assistant for the documentary film Elvis on Tour (1972).

  • In 1994, Jim Coblentz won the International Monitor Awards's award in the category Film Originated Television Series - Editor for The X Files (episode "Beyond the Sea"). In 1995, Jim was nominated for the same award and category for The X Files (episode "Duane Barry").
