BACHELORS OF LOVE; JORDAN BRIDGES GUEST-STARS

Jaime (Michelle Ryan) finally gets to experience college when she goes undercover as a British transfer student to investigate a professor who is possibly selling neural implants to terrorists. However, her assignment becomes complicated when she unexpectedly falls for Tom, the teacher's assistant (guest star Jordan Bridges, "Conviction" ), who has been flagged as a suspect. Miguel Ferrer, Molly Price, Will Yun Lee, Mark Sheppard and Lucy Kate Hale also star.

Becca has an intensely hot scene in Jaime's apartment with her boyfriend, Carl. Jonas and Jae have a fight, and Jae breaks Jonas' hand. Jae pins Jonas down, and grips Jonas neck in a hold which nearly makes him black out. When Jonas recovers, Jae is gone. Sarah and Jaime meet Dr. Childs at his unkept house, the couch littered with newspapers. Both of them seem to be there of their own freewill and working together. In contrast to the state of the living room, there is an immaculately kept lab in the basement of the house. Jaime recognises a 'pipe' in an ashtray in TV dinner tray. Some kind of drugs paraphenalia, due to the bits of aluminum foil containing brown chunks near it - 'pre-made hits' says the script. Dr. Childs used to work with either Will or Anthony Anthros, as a researcher, but left because it became 'dangerous'. When Jaime askes why it was dangerous, Childs says "It would have meant the end of everything". Dr. Childs mentions that there is an inhibitor that limits Jaime and Sarah's life-span to 5 years, and their being 'saved' threatens certain people, which Sarah finds hard to believe. Dr. Child knows Sarah of old, something to do with an' illness' she had. Dr. Childs believes that if Jaime and Sarah will be the "end of everything" as they will mark the beginning of the end of normal human life (without bionics). Jaime and Sarah have a flash drive with them, which belonged to Matthew Stevens. They give it to Dr. Childs to help with his research. Dr. Child's explains that the anthrocytes in the bionic candidates blood are timed to mutate, eventually going rogue and killing themselves. They start out helping to heal the person, but eventually do the opposite and end up killing them by casuing damage at the sub-cellular level. Child's compares it to a normal person getting cancer. The anthrocytes can be reprogrammed to stop their destructive mission, if they are reached in time. Dr. Childs was working on a smaller version of the anthrocyte 'machine', less than 50 nanometers called "NANOTECH PROXY SUB 50 — VERSION 8". Dr. Childs stopped his research after the death of a woman, possibly his wife or daughter, most likely from cancer. He has one vial of the fluid which will prolong Sarah and Jaime's lifespan... the only trouble is he only has enough to treat one of them!
